A trip to hunt megalodons at the aquarium turned into a whimsical jaunt, full of sea lions, hot dogs and sea tunnels last summer. It also provided a platform to put In A Chaotic Space to video.

I love when my geek nature and my music senses intersect smoothly - I first heard the track “Bible School” on the YouTube video At-At Day Afternoon. Some time recently, I revisited this little gem and ran through the YouTube mix for Blithe Field and - frankly - fell in love with the sound. The album (and the artist’s back catalogue) is available on BandCamp as pay-what-you-please releases, and I can’t recommend this optimistic experimentalism enough. Importantly, it’s inspired me to set up the mics and pre-amps for guitarring purposes again recently - something I haven’t felt like doing in a longer time than I care to admit.
