Do your ears deceive you? Of course not. And once again, you’ve made an ass of yourself. Clickering the play button below will tune you very briefly into the sounds of me plugging my strat into a recording doo-wingey for a change. With all this synthing over the coldmas, it’s easy for me to forget that I’m a guitarist. Silly old me. What you hear is my Good Old Strat (pictured) plugged into BigPoot through a Korg Toneworks on whichever setting came up first (I was booting it up to see what the tremolo sounded like and got carried away and never heard the tremolo yet) - I believe it was called “Fusion”. My word. But don’t expect too much - this is the first time I’ve played plugged in for a month or more, and I was just buggering about, as we say in the business. But it’s nice to be spontaneous. Isn’t it?
(the irony of this guitarring is I really do hate that sort of chorussy phasering, you know, but it’s not bad for larks)
