I took the week off so I could chill and make music and finish the @Synoiz remix while I still had the will and it’s turned out better than expected. All I really had to do was mix it, but after a sullen listen on Tuesday, I realised it was never going to sit right, so I replaced the entire rhythm section, hit on some really nice touches, and mixed it all down over the last couple of days. In doing so, I learned the “New York Compression Trick”. I feel like a pro.
