I was tooling around with Polygomé hooked up to my Launchpad (using the Monome emulator Nomone, which makes believe your Launchpad is really a Monome, and creates an alternate universe in which you’re rich) and finally got round to hooking it up to AbletonLive. I’ve been working really hard this week and have been a little sleep deprived, which may go some way to explaining why I let the off-beated nature of this slide. Everything’s slightly moved ahead in the loop-start area. Which makes it a pain to work on with samples, so I’ve had to throw some Absynth at it.
No, not the drink. Can you imagine how this’d sound on Absynth?

There’s a bundle of pre-configured nomone apps (Fourths, Polygomé, MLR etc) out there that I couldn’t find to link to, but that’s what I tend to use rather than hooking up Nomone by itself everytime (which also tends to be hitty-missy, at least on my MacBook). If you’re interested in the bundle, get in touch and I’ll send my own apps to you!
