Got my Zelda vinyls from New York (all the way around the world!) this week. Naturally, they got slapped on my trusty old stickered-up strat. I intend using this for some recording this week, so hopefully I’ll sound 100% more retro vogue when I do. FEEL THE POWER OF THE TRIFORCE!

I must admit, I think this funky game vinyl experiment could be the start of a Thing.

There’s some other exciting news afoot in the Anguaji Camp - mainly that it’s decamping and moving elsewhere - but all you need to know for now is that it’s going to mean I get more time, energy and money to make music. Which I’m sure can only be a good thing.

I first heard this chappie as the soundtrack to this great video: At At Day Afternoon and have become very quickly hooked. This guy has really inspired me to pick up the guitar for recording purposes, so at the risk of revealing the source of my upcoming inspirations, go check him out.

Think I’ll be posting some rare details on my (kind of) upcoming (kind of) EP later this (kind of) week - I’ve been working on it in my secret labs for a while, but I’d like to get the thing out into the air and move on to new things pretty sharpish.
